It is a truly precious thing to be alive and to be able to live our ordinary lives. Therefore, let us fill our lives with love and do our  best today, just as we always do.

Blooming without a mind, Falling without a mind, The flower does not lament, It lives in the present. What truly matters is neither the past, Nor the future, But the present, Each and every breath

The Importance of Arranging Footwear

Align your shoes.
When you align your shoes, your heart aligns as well.
When your heart aligns, your shoes are aligned.
If you align them when you take them off, your heart won’t be troubled when you put them on.
If someone has left them in disarray, silently align them.
If you do so, surely the hearts of people in the world will also align.

Akihito Watanabe Memoirs

25 years have passed, and even now, the late Mr. Kokichi Tsuburaya lives on in my heart.
It was when I visited the Kokichi Tsuburaya Memorial Hall.
The words spoken by Mr. Tsuburaya’s older brother when I took off my shoes remind me of this poem.
“By observing how you took off and arranged your footwear, I could clearly understand what kind of person you are.”
“Thank you for visiting Kokichi today,” he said, and those words are etched in my heart.
I believe that how one arranges their footwear is a crucial lesson that speaks volumes about their character.
